The collection and use of our users’ personal data generally only occurs with the user’s consent. To the extent that we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing personal data, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data.
An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law. For the processing of personal data necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations necessary to implement pre-contractual measures.

If processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.
The transmission of personal data between your computer or mobile device and our server is always encrypted (SSL procedure, Secure Socket Layer).
4. Use of cookies and use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website by users is usually transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on activities within this website, and to provide us with other services related to the use of this website and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles of users may be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the user’s IP address will be shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser will not be merged with other Google data.
Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website and from processing this data by downloading and installing the available browser plug-in.
Further information on Google’s use of data for advertising purposes, settings and objection options can be found on Google’s websites:

The transmission of personal data between your computer or mobile device and our server is always encrypted (SSL procedure, Secure Socket Layer).
6. Use of service providers to process personal data/processing of data in countries outside the European Economic Area
We use service providers to provide services and process your data related to our products and services. These service providers process the data exclusively within the scope of our instructions and are obligated to comply with applicable data protection regulations. All processors have been carefully selected and are granted access to your data only to the extent and for the period necessary to provide the services or to the extent that you have consented to data processing and use.
Service providers in countries such as the USA or in countries outside the European Economic Area are subject to data protection regulations that generally do not protect personal data to the same extent as in the member states of the European Union. If your data is processed in a country that does not have a recognized high level of data protection as the European Union, we ensure that your personal data is adequately protected through contractual arrangements or other recognized instruments.
7. Storage period
We only store your personal data for as long as permitted by law. Stored personal data will be deleted if the user revokes their consent to storage or if knowledge of this data is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored, in particular if the user account is deleted or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons. Relevant statutory retention periods under the German Commercial Code or the German Tax Code remain unaffected. During the statutory retention period, your personal data will be blocked and not subject to any other data processing.

If you request the disclosure of your personal data, we will, if you so request, provide or transmit the data to you or another controller in a structured, common, and machine-readable format. However, the latter will only be done if technically feasible (Article 20 GDPR).
8.6. Right of objection
You have the right to object to data processing at any time and without giving reasons (Article 7 (3) GDPR). However, after exercising your right of objection, we may no longer be able to fully offer our services, as certain services require the processing of certain personal data.
